Hospice, we’ll handle the care. You focus on being there

Hospice Care Support at Home in Orange County

Hospice care is about being present. Our role is to make that possible.

Agape provides compassionate non-medical hospice support for families navigating one of life’s most difficult seasons. Your hospice provider manages the medical side — the nursing visits, medications, and clinical decisions. What they don’t cover is the day-to-day personal care: bathing, dressing, transferring, sitting with your loved one through the night. That’s where we come in.

How Agape Works Alongside Your Hospice Team

Agape caregivers work directly alongside your hospice agency — following their guidance, communicating with your care coordinator, and keeping your family informed. We handle the personal care and presence so your family can focus on being together rather than managing tasks.

We can start with just a few hours a day and scale to around-the-clock support as needs change. There is no minimum commitment and no long-term contract.

What Agape Provides

  • Bathing, grooming, and dressing — gentle and unhurried
  • Transfer and mobility assistance
  • Repositioning and comfort care
  • Bed linen changes and laundry
  • Medication reminders (non-medical)
  • Meal preparation and assistance with eating

  • Emotional support for your loved one and family members in the home
  • Respite relief for family caregivers who need to rest

Overnight Hospice Sitting

One of the most requested — and most needed — services during hospice is overnight support. Families shouldn’t have to choose between staying awake all night and leaving their loved one alone. Agape overnight caregivers provide attentive, compassionate presence through the night so family members can rest and be present during the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Agape start the same day we receive a hospice diagnosis?
In most cases, yes. We understand that hospice transitions can happen quickly. Call us at (949) 690-9990 and we will move as fast as we can to have someone in place.

Will Agape caregivers coordinate with our hospice nurse?
Yes. Our caregivers follow the hospice team’s guidance and communicate directly with your care coordinator. We support their plan — we don’t duplicate or conflict with it.

What if our needs change as the condition progresses?
We adjust. Many families start with a few hours of daily support and move to 24-hour care as the situation evolves. We reassess regularly and respond to what your family actually needs.
