The name Agape comes from the ancient Greek word for unconditional love — not the kind that changes with circumstances, but the kind that shows up fully, asks nothing in return, and never gives up.

We chose that name intentionally. It isn’t just what we’re called. It’s the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.

Agape Home Care was founded by a family who believed that home care, done right, must begin with genuine care for people — not just a business model. We had seen too many families struggle to find agencies that truly showed up, where clients were treated like case numbers and caregivers like bodies on a schedule.

We knew there had to be a better way.

So we built Agape around one simple question:

Before a caregiver ever steps into a client’s home, they complete background checks, fingerprinting, TB clearance, and a rigorous interview process — but more importantly, they demonstrate the kind of character we would trust with the people we love most.

We don’t place caregivers we wouldn’t personally trust. That’s not a policy. It’s a promise.

That same spirit shapes how we care for our team. Our caregivers are not just staff — they are the heart of Agape. We invest in them through ongoing training, real support, and a culture built on respect and dignity.

Over the years, we’ve served hundreds of families across Orange County — supporting hospital discharges, recovery, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, and some of life’s most difficult and tender moments.

We take on the cases others turn away. We answer the phone when families need us. We show up — even on the hardest days.

And through it all, we’ve stayed grounded in what we started with: the belief that every person — every client, every caregiver, every family — deserves to be treated with steady, dependable care and compassion.
